What is All the 4G Hype About? A “trini” Perspective


So, I guess if you live in Trinidad, by now you’d realize that both the carriers (the people who offer you mobile services) are offering a service known as 4G. Now first off I’m not going to say I’m a network genius and know exactly what I’m talking about but I’m tired of people asking the same thing over and over. So here we go. MMS and Data on Trinidad & Tobago Carrier

Thanks to two guys, SRASC (from and hummbug, you can have MMS on your iPhone 3G and 3GS using the following settings for each Network. For the 2G, you must be running 3.1.2 and you can check my Beginner’s Guide post for a link as to how to get it working.

There are two networks in Trinidad & Tobago, bmobile and Digicel. Thanks to hummbug, he posted the working settings for Digicel today.

To add the following settings navigate to “Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network” and input these following pieces of info.
