MMS and Data on Trinidad & Tobago Carrier

Thanks to two guys, SRASC (from and hummbug, you can have MMS on your iPhone 3G and 3GS using the following settings for each Network. For the 2G, you must be running 3.1.2 and you can check my Beginner’s Guide post for a link as to how to get it working.

There are two networks in Trinidad & Tobago, bmobile and Digicel. Thanks to hummbug, he posted the working settings for Digicel today.

To add the following settings navigate to “Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network” and input these following pieces of info.

Only add to those labels stated.

For bmobile:

APN: mms

MMS Proxy:

For Digicel:

MMS proxy

When you are done Navigate to “Settings > Messages” and turn the MMS Messaging toggle ON.

If it is not there, Reboot and then try again.

That’s it, you should now be able to see the camera icon to the left side when sending a Message.

If you wish to have just Data, The APN for Digicel is (i currently use this) and for Bmobile it is internet

Good Luck.

  1. its working but i am not sending i can receive only i looks like

  2. that really sucks guys, I honestly stopped using MMS now and started using messaging apps like whatsapp or if push comes to shove, an email. $1 per message is ridiculous.

Need to know how to unlock bmobile blackberry 9320

    • Hey,
      Check out
Send them all the necessary info. I think they need a MEP code or something. If the code they supply you with does not work, there are persons on TriniTuner who offer a paid solution which is in essence the same so hopefully freemyblackberry works.
      Good luck!

Hi, i have an iphone 3gs on the digicel network. could u tell me what to do to get access to the internet. I am seeing the 3g on the top of the screen but when i try to use the internet it doesn’t work. In the cellular data network section there is nothing no user name, password, apn etc. What should I do?

    • Basically what I outlined above. The APN should be (without quotes)
That is it. Once data is enable on your sim, it will work. Good luck.
